Frame Protection Options
Application of Invisiframe and RideWrap
Mountain Trax is a reseller of Invisiframe and RideWrap protections systems. Similar to paint protection film (PPF) applied on a vehicle your bike or frame will be stripped of parts, cleaned and the kit applied, followed by reassembly. There is a surcharge for used bikes due to the extensive levels of preparation required. Please call for a quote 0118 976 1130.
Ceramic Bike Protection
Ceramic bike protection has been formulated to minimise adhesion of foreign objects such as brake dust, road grime and mud. It offers up to 24 months of protection and can be applied to all types of paint finishes including paint protection films. This means that mud, grime and dirt are far easier to remove, making ongoing maintenance quick and easy. Mountain Trax provides a service that involves detailing the whole bicycle (i.e. a thorough deep clean and removal of any contaminants) plus the application of the ceramic coat. This will cover most non-moving parts and is applicable to any bike (road, gravel, mtb, electric etc.) on the frame, fork lowers, shock body, wheel rims, cranks, bar, stem, seatpost, hubs etc.
Cost is £55 for the kit. Application costs vary depending on the use of the bike i.e. new unridden vs used requiring extensive levels of preparation. Please contact the store to pre-book this service and quote.
