ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN BIKE HIRE at MOUNTAIN TRAX
Our hire bikes are high quality electric full suspension mountain bikes with Bosch or Shimano motors suitable for off-road xc and trail riding. These bikes are being sold on to make way for new models:

* We can supply flat or clipless pedals, or bring your own.
* We reserve the right to refuse demos at our discretion.
* Please don't take demo & hire bikes to trail centres further afield, such as Wales etc, we've seen too many unforeseen crashs with expensive repair bills which are the hirer's liability.
* Use of hire bikes is at the hirer's own risk and we recommend wearing a safety helmet. A declaration must be signed prior to the hire agreeing to the T&C's. Please note the hirer is fully responsible for the due care of the hire bike and is liable for any costs associated with damage, loss, theft, confiscation etc.

ROAD and MOUNTAIN BIKE DEMO at MOUNTAIN TRAX
For 2024 we are running a very select number of bikes as follows. If you are interested in specific models we can liaise with the brands such as Santa Cruz, Whyte, Yeti, Orbea and Orro to call upon their test bikes.
You can take the bike out for up to 24 hours. You can try demo road bikes on the adjacent country lanes or from home. Most people take demo mountain bikes to Swinley Forest, which is an easy ten minute drive from the shop. Swinley has three easy-to-follow waymarked trails, graded green, blue and red, so you can compare bikes on identical test loops. There are also some good places to try bikes off-road in the woodland near the shop.

Where?
Whyte Bikes’ Premium Experience Centre at Swinley Bike Hub, in the heart of the Crown’s Estate beautiful Swinley Forest near Bracknell, Berkshire.
What?
A full demo experience focused on you, including a thorough bike set up and introduction; quality time out on the trails on the bike of your choice; a Whyte specialist on-hand to answer questions and offer assistance; plus no other demo riders, no time pressures, and no hard sells.
What does a demo ride include?
Each demo includes:
* Welcome and introduction
* Full bike set-up, including suspension
* 1:1 riding with a Whyte bikes specialist to answer any questions you might have
* Post-ride coffee and chat
How long is a demo ride experience?
In total, each demo ride experience is 2.5 hours, with 1.5 hours of that spent riding on the trail and getting to know the bike properly. So, roughly it works as 30mins pre-ride, 1.5hrs of riding, and 30-mins post-ride.
How much does it cost?
£185 per demo ride experience.
How do I book?
Simply select the Whyte bike and size you wish to demo in the online demo booking tool (above) from the available fleet, select the date and time, add your contact details and pay the demo fee. Whyte will then be in touch to confirm your booking, together with what to bring and expect on the day. Then all you need to do is to turn up and enjoy the ride.
How do I buy a Whyte E160 or E-Lyte?
When you've decided which model to buy contact Mountain Trax who will guide you through the process in choosing the right model and size either from their stock or ordered in from Whyte. You will collect and pay for your new bike at Mountain Trax who will set it up and be your point of contact for service and after sales support.
EVOC MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAVEL BAG HIRE
The EVOC Mountain Bike Travel Bag has been designed to protect your bike wherever you travel. Please phone the shop to confirm Hire dates and number of bags required - we have limited availability at peak times June to September so book early. They are for collection and return instore. If you require a hire bag to be delivered to you please contact us first for shipment charges. Return shipping is at the hirers expense.

SHOCKWIZ SUSPENSION TUNING SYSTEM HIRE
ShockWiz is a suspension tuning system for air-sprung mountain bikes that combines high-tech hardware with an intuitive smartphone app. ShockWiz automatically records and evaluates suspension performance every time you ride. The App displays straightforward adjustments that unite bike, terrain and riding style. You can tune for every riding style: Efficient (pedalling), Balanced, Playful or Aggressive. Advice for air pressure, spring rate, compression and rebound.
Rates are per single ShockWiz that can be fitted to either your fork or shock.
Or hire a pair to gather data simultaneously (double the hire rate).
