I first took up mountain biking as a way to keep fit for Kart racing. After quitting from kart racing and concentrating on my education I still needed to get the competition kick, so tried mountain bike racing in local Gorrick events. Girls, beer and University caused a short 5-6 year break before I started competing again in 2003. First in local events and then onto my first NPS in 2004. 2005 was my first full year of NPS races in the Sport category along with various other local and national events.
