Hope Hoops Pro 2 Evo Wheels

Following on from the success of the Pro 2 Hope Hoops wheel sets, Hope have updated the wheel set to include the improved Pro 2 Evo hub which benefits from running on hardened stainless steel bearings.

The Pro 2 Evo hub is renowned for its ideal combination of light weight, durability and strength together with its compatibility options. Hope have taken this compatibility and provided a set of rim options for all riding disciplines from XC racing to heavy duty DH free riding.

If you’re after a cross country set up look at the Mavic XC717 rim or the Stan’s No Tubes Crest Rim. We recommend the Stan’s No Tubes Crest Rim as the rim is lighter and stiffer than the Mavic and combine this with the Stan’s tubeless system, going tubeless is effortlessly easy.

For more aggressive All Mountain or Free ride use, Hope offers the DT Swiss EX500 or the Stan’s No Tubes Flow Rim. The No Tubes Flow Rim offers you a great tubeless option for a lighter, puncture resistant setup. We recommend the Stan’s No Tubes Flow rim on many of our custom builds and it is also the wheel choice of our staff member Neil.

Hope finish the Hope Hoops Pro 2 Evo Wheel set with the classic Mavic EX721. The combination of the Pro 2 Evo hub and Mavic EX721 Rim builds into a bombproof, thrashable & reliable wheel that fits just about any frame or fork axle type. This option also comes in 150mm width ideal for hitting your favourite DH track hard.

The Hope Hoops Pro 2 Evo Wheels are available individually or as a pair and come complete with custom ‘Hoops’ etched on the hub, rim tape (except the No Tubes rims), spare spokes nipples and Hope Hoops rim stickers.

The XC rim choices all come as QR wheels with the front wheel having a 15mm conversion kit in the box (20mm available aftermarket) and the remaining rim options come as QR, but this time with a 20mm conversion in the box (15mm available aftermarket).
