If you are the kind of ride who puts their saddle down for descents, then the Crank Brother Joplin L Seatpost is the answer to your prayers. With just a quick flick of the under saddle lever, you can drop your saddle by 75mm (3in), enough for even the gnarliest descent. And when you get to the bottom, just unweight the saddle, press the lever and you’ll have the saddle back up to full height for the climb back up.

The Joplin seatpost works on the same principle as your typical office chair, the seatpost's hydraulic action allows you to instantly fine tune your seat height, and therefore your riding position. If you don’t want to drop the saddle the whole way down, fine, just let go the lever once your saddle is at the desired height and you are ready to ride. No more interrupting the flow while you mess around with your seat collar.
