Your Rights

Mountain Trax is a UK based company and complies with UK consumer law including the Distance Selling Regulations. This means that shopping with us is safe. You won't get ripped off, you'll get your parts and we'll sort out any problems you have. Our Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel an order and return any goods that may already have been dispatched, (see Returns for Refund) up to 7 days from receipt. Our returns policy allows 10 days.

Pricing

Prices include VAT (Value Added Tax)* at the standard UK rate of 15%. While we do our best to ensure prices are up to date and correct, errors may occur and in this case you will be contacted before your order is shipped.

*In the UK helmets are already VAT free, so price is not affected by delivery destination.

Payment

Mountain Trax accept most major credit/debit cards for online orders via the SagePay Secure Payment Gateway. You will be asked to enter your card details and the name and the address of the card holder when you place the order. These details will be checked and we may hold an order until we receive the correct details. You will be contacted if we find the card or address details to be incorrect.

Due to varying Exchange Rates all payments made to us must be in UK Pounds (£) Sterling.

Card Security

We take online security extremely seriously and have taken several steps to ensure that your payment information is processed confidentially, accurately and securely.

The Mountain Trax eShop uses secure servers where information is protected by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the industry standard encryption technology. SSL works with Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, AOL and other browsers. This encryption makes it virtually impossible for unauthorized parties to read any information that you send us.

When your order is processed your encrypted credit card number is removed from the web server.

This means that there is no way that someone can obtain your credit card number from the site so you can order with confidence!

Privacy Policy

Mountain Trax are committed to protecting your privacy. When you make an online order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, card billing address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and associated details. We will also require a land line telephone number and mobile number. This allows us to process and fulfill your orders and to notify you about your order status. This number may be given to our couriers in order to help with the delivery of your goods. You have trusted us by giving us these details and we promise not to use these details for any other reason other than processing your order or informing you about the products and services of Mountain Trax. We will not pass any of your details on to third parties for profit or otherwise.

Cookies

Cookies are tiny text files, which are stored on your computer and the website uses these files to remember what currency you want to view the site in, what items are in your basket and various other things which are all in place to make the site easier to use. All shopping websites use cookies and without them the site would not work.

Ordering Information

Mountain-Trax.com is constantly updated to keep pace with changes in our stock levels and as demand if often high we occasionally run out of popular items. If the item you are after is 'Out Of Stock / Usually Despatched in 3-6 Days’ and we cannot despatch your order the next working day, we'll email you with a revised despatch date. You can then either accept the revised delivery date or cancel the order, as you wish.

This is also often the case with special order or very unique item's. This means that these goods will normally be despatched within 3-6 working days of ordering. If despatch is going to be longer than 6 working days, we will contact you with a revised date; which you can either accept or cancel the order, as you wish. If we cannot source the item we will contact you to inform you.

Product Information

The products displayed on the website use a mix of manufacturer's photographs and descriptions or our own. Although we aim that every picture and description is 100% accurate, mistakes do occur so let us know if you see or read something that isn't correct. If you have purchased something based on a picture or description on the website which turns out to be incorrect we will be happy to replace or refund the product (unused).

Shipping and Postage

We use UPS (United Parcel Service) Next Day Service Or Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Signed For, so you will need to be in to sign for your purchase. We will deliver goods to an address other than the cardholders address at our discretion, although we may require further details from you. Orders made by 2pm will be sent that day, otherwise it will be sent the following day. Orders placed on Friday before the 2pm cut off will be sent out for a Monday delivery. Orders placed on a Bank Holiday will be sent out the next working day.
Postage & Shipping Services
We charge £3 delivery on most items within the UK. However for more bulky items such as wheels, frames and forks we charge £6. We charge £20 for Bikes.

Return's

At Mountain Trax we pride ourselves on our superb customer service so if you make a purchase from Mountain Trax and upon receipt of the goods decide you have the wrong size, you don’t like the colour, or you’ve just changed your mind, you can have a replacement or a full refund... your choice. So here's how it works. If you buy something from us and later decide you made a mistake, Return the goods, unused, in the original packaging and within ten days (14 days for Oakley eyewear) for a full refund or replacement. Under these circumstances we cannot refund any postage charges. DVD’s, Videos or food products must have the original seals intact for obvious reasons.

Faulty or Damaged Goods - In the event of you receiving goods which are of an unsatisfactory quality, the goods may be returned (with the original packaging in the case of damaged goods), within 10 days, and you will receive a full refund of the cost of the goods plus all postal charges.

When we have processed the returned goods and your card has been credited, we will confirm this via email.

When returning goods we advise you to return products by recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in the post.

The Mountain Trax's returns procedure does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Website Usage

Mountain Trax disclaims damages of any kind, compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties implied or otherwise relating to use of this site.
